The boring stuff: I currently live in Washington, DC, but grew up in New Orleans and went to undergrad in Los Angeles. I just completed my master's degree at Parsons in something called strategic design, which applies design thinking and practices to address broad, complex challenges that drive organizational and societal change.

The good stuff: I'm a systems thinker who's had the good fortune of being deeply influenced by the places and spaces I've inhabited. I enjoy thinking and writing about design, culture, aesthetics, identity, and modern life (amongst other things). I hope to understand more about myself, my community, and the larger world around me through writing.

There's nothing better than an al-fresco chicken cae-sal (caesar salad, for the uninitiated), crispy waffle fries, and a chilled glass of pet nat on a sunny day. Prove me wrong.
